ROSWELL PARK COMPREHENSIVE CANCER CENTER – BLOOD & APHAERESIS CLINIC
Zaxis Architectural, PC designed a new Aphaeresis Clinic for Roswell Park CCC. Donors who visit the Clinic partake in a procedure in which their blood is drawn and the plasma or platelets are retained and the remainder is returned to the donor. Due to the length of the procedure (approximately 2 hours), the donors are offered individual television monitors and nutrition stations. The design offers both beds and chairs, to meet the comfort level of the donor.
